Entering 2024, BCEEN celebrates a pivotal year past and looks forward to forging new paths. A highlight of 2023 was the historic MOU signing with St. Vincent & the Grenadines during its 44th Year of Independence celebration at Ken Whillan’s Square—a first for Brampton with any African or Caribbean nation. This achievement, a collaboration between BCEEN, the Consulate of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Brampton’s Economic Development Department, marks a significant step towards building stronger international relations and showcasing the vibrant contributions of Brampton’s Black community.
Looking ahead, BCEEN is dedicated to expanding these partnerships, starting with Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago, to create impactful, beneficial opportunities. We aim to highlight the invaluable contributions of our community, setting the stage for a future of remarkable successes and deeper, more meaningful collaborations.
